Gestalt Therapy

The heart of my therapeutic approach

Gestalt therapy is an insightful and effective therapeutic approach that I employ in my practice, particularly ideal for addressing anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, or interpersonal challenges. This method emphasises self-awareness and present-focused experiences, allowing clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and perceptions. By understanding how these factors influence current behaviours and relationships, we can work together to foster personal growth and enhance mental well-being.

The Cycle of Awareness

At the heart of my therapeutic practice lies the Cycle of Awareness—a fundamental concept in Gestalt therapy. This model illustrates the natural process of recognising and engaging with our thoughts and feelings, which may otherwise remain unexamined. By navigating through stages such as sensation, awareness, mobilisation, action, contact, and withdrawal, I guide clients in identifying and addressing patterns that may be affecting their mental health and relationships. This approach cultivates resilience, enabling you to take informed actions toward personal resolution and connection.
